Job Description:
The Rural Health Association of Utah internship program is open to undergraduate and graduate students. The program is designed to fulfill the requirements for internship programs. RHAU interns may be involved in a number of projects including event planning, strategic management, community engagement, program building, financial management, etc. Students may be assigned to tasks at Southern Utah University or within rural/frontier Utah counties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with Projects as assigned related to Rural Health Association of Utah
- Assist with designing or improving new and existing programs
- Track efforts, gather and assess data, and track and outcomes assess outcomes
- Work with key stakeholders throughout rural Utah Service Area.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must be a current student in an undergraduate or graduate program that requires an internship or capstone experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, including word, excel, and PowerPoint as well as proficiency in using google docs.
- Ability to build professional relationships and comfort with engaging with various key stakeholders across different communities.
- Ability to work autonomously and complete tasks on time.
- Experience in a health care related field is helpful but not required.
