Job Description:
Facilitate the efficient running of the center by overseeing administrative tasks and
responsibilities in conjunction with the business operations manager and center director.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee the Front Desk, including answering phones, scheduling tours and greeting guests, parents and children. Must be comfortable dealing with small children.
- Perform general administrative support duties: typing, word processing, spreadsheets, logging childcare tuition into Brightwheel, maintaining files both locally and online and answering correspondence.
- Serve as the account manager for purchasing cards
- Become knowledgeable with the Student Success HUB and provide a wide-array of services associated with the Success Hub.
- Become knowledgeable with Banner and use the Banner system for basic reconciliation processes, including account balances, budgets, and transfers.
- Become familiar with KidKare software and the Federal Food program; perform data entry and track meals and attendance.
- Responsible for maintaining the Childcare website and overseeing changes.
- Assist Manager with the submission and administration of various childcare grants including the CCAMPIS grant.
- Order office supplies and childcare supplies and maintain office equipment.
- Assist in planning staff meetings and Childcare Center events
- Demonstrate a consistent positive attitude and rapport with University personnel and the public.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- General understanding of accounting practices and procedures
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive.
- Proven ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- Organizational ability with particular attention to detail.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance.
- Require occasional physical lifting of up to 50 pounds.
